Quads.

On Monday I decided to get back at the gym since I had been missing its presence in my life for a few months. 2 jobs and trying to ski and compete does not leave much room for gym time.

I knew it was going to suck because this is what I saw on the website as the workout:

FOR TIME:
25 BURPEES
400 METER WALKING LUNGE (YEP, LUNGE TO THE FIRE HYDRANT AND BACK)
25 BURPEES

ummmm….. Eff Me! I went and tried to do it. Got 200 meters and couldn’t lunge anymore so finished up with the burpees. Tragic, I didn’t even complete my first workout back.

Yesterday was Pilates and that went well. I even did some sprints on the bike to bust up the lactic acid, but I still can’t walk down the stairs properly.

And I just looked at the forecast and got really sad Gad 2 is closed for the season:

The Bird has already posted 21 inches in the last 24 hours with another 12-18 by tomorrow morning! But that glimmer of sun on Sunday will make for a spectacular Alta last day!
